中國大陸要求36家外國航空公司須更改對台稱呼，統一為「中國台灣」，國家安全會議祕書長李大維呼籲國人拒搭因對岸打壓更改對台稱呼的班機，外交部今（19）日表示，中方這樣的霸凌行為，已經嚴重傷害兩岸關係，希望適可而止，後續相關因應作為，政府正在進行法律諮詢和規劃中。
外交部發言人李憲章表示，政府針對中國打壓國際企業和民航的作法，一直密切關注，外交部對堅守營運自主、自由的企業表示感謝，但仍有部分不當更改我國名的外企，後續因應作為，政府正在進行法律諮詢和規劃中。他強調，「該做的我們都會做，包括國際文宣也好、法律訴求，或跟各國政府強力溝通、交涉，或和個別企業溝通協商，這些我們一直都在做。」
李憲章指出，對岸自1月以來的霸凌做法，非常不妥當，且嚴重傷害兩岸關係，希望中方能適可而止，尊重自由市場機制，不該繼續挫傷國際貿易自由原則及精神，「這個我們表示深切遺憾」。
至於民眾若「自主性」拒搭，會影響多少航班？李憲章說，目前為止還沒收到民航局提供相關資訊，但這是非常專業的問題，對航空公司會有多少數量、百分比的影響，是非常專業的精算問題，他沒辦法回答。
